keystone weekend!

this past weekend, my sister {allison}, brother in law {steven}, brother {jonathan} and his girlfriend {anna} came to colorado to visit aric + i and to ski! we stayed in silverthorne all weekend and skied keystone until my shins were bleeding...okay not really bleeding, but almost broken haha! here are some photos from the fabulous weekend...

the theme for the weekend was "epic" so we laughed so hard when we saw this sign for the epic burger!

such a fun trip! can't wait to ski again before the season is over!

mom's first visit of 2011!

from last wednesday to monday morning, momma t was in town! we had so much fun - as we always do when she comes to visit!

dog park!

i pass by this dog park every day on my way to work and have always wanted to go - even though the whole thing is covered in dirt and it's right off 1-70. not the prettiest dog park, but we had a great time taking the girls! they loved it!

this is the dog aric had growing up - it's a german short hair. he wants one sooo bad! they are so cute, but very hyper haha! mom had a hard time taking his picture because they are such fast dogs!

saturday morning brunch at squeaky bean

saturday morning, me, aric, mom & aunt b ventured to squeaky bean for some yummy brunch!

they couldn't keep a straight face while i was snapping photos of them! haha

time for more cooking!

saturday night, we made "hot and crunchy chicken cones." sounds weird, but wow - this might be one of my all time favorite things to make. find the recipe from food & wine here. above, i'm making the crust for the chicken - incredible! we also made homemade slaw - one of the best slaws i've ever had!

on sunday, mom & i went to highlands ranch to have lunch with brittany and baby becca! (we missed james!) so much fun seeing mom meet becca!
