my christmas break started off wonderfully! one of aric's best friends, mykah, surprised aric the friday night before christmas! he flew in from miami and stayed with us for a week! mykah and i had been planning this surprise for a couple of months and it went off with a hitch! chris and anthony also joined us for a fun night of festivities and catching up!

tuesday, dec 27, mom's birthday, she came into town! her flight got in at 6:40am and we were ready for a full day of celebrating!!
after dinner, we headed to this cute new candy store!

for mom's birthday dinner, we went to the rio and had some delicious mexican food and wonderful margaritas!

that morning we all went to breakfast at snooze. it was one of the best breakfast's i've ever had in denver! they even brought mom out a pancake with a candle before our meal!!

the next couple of days we spent wedding planning and shopping for a wedding dress. it was such a fun experience getting to try on dresses with mom! we ate tons of good food, made dinner, shopped, watched football, took naps, talked more about the wedding, and took the dogs on numerous walks. we had such a good visit, even though it was short.
