i headed off to target, the container store and west elm today! success at all 3 places!
i love this metallic silver tray. it is a great spot to put our remotes. i got it at west elm. you can find it online here.
i also got those pretty seafoam colored votive candle holders!
next up, a new toy basket. it was time to get the girls something more modern. this basket from target was the perfect item {and a great price too!}
looks much better than the hunter green easter basket!

this might be my favorite section of the house now. i found the stripped tote at the container store and i think it was the perfect piece to put in our now silver table! in goes our throws for easy access for cool nights!
an acrylic tray {from container store} replaces the basket {which has a new home under the coffee table} and holds a notepad and cute little hammered dish from west elm to hold our mail keys and odd's and end's. i'm hoping this will be the dumping spot for mail, notes, etc!
with my inspiration board in mind, i decided the orange candle needed to go, and in goes a light blue one {it looks much lighter in real life}.
yay! a new hand towel from west elm now graces the guest bathroom! are you shocked i bought stripes?
more to go, but don't worry mom, i still have a huge list of stuff to do/buy when you get here!
